Service was ok, good was good but restaurant needs to be cleaned better. Who wants to eat in a dirty establishment.

Response to comment: Yes, it was just the salads that I found inconsistent. I have not ordered anything else besides sides. The one I liked was the salad with iceberg lettuce in it, but there had been spring mix in the salad the other times I ordered it. Third time was the least impressive. Need to try the breakfast menu next. It's a hit or miss restaurant. They have slow service and inconsistent menu items, but I'll probably continually go back just because it is one of the very few restaurants in Lake Charles. I ordered the same salad three times and every time it had a different type of lettuce in it (once obviously old lettuce). Milkshakes are good though!

As a person familiar with Pit Grills, I think this location may be the poorest choice. The food seems to run from mediocre to poor out of perhaps an inadequately organized or trained kitchen staff. The floor service seems good but is again somewhat disorganized and bottlenecked at the kitchen pick up window. This venue is definitely in need of substantial improvement. Can you get a good meal here? In my experience--sometimes

Pancake was burn and we ask the new one , they said that's the way how the cooked it , so we decided not to come back, why we wanna spend money for burnt pancakes???

Ate breakfast here on a trip east on I10. Had intended to go to KD's, but KD's was closed. Pitt Grill was a good alternative. Had a pecan waffle and it was very good. Other's in the party had the country special breakfast. Portions were large, but hash browns were undercooked. Service was friendly, but not particularly fast. All in all was OK.

Me and my husband ate breakfast together at this restaurant. I had 2 pancakes, 2 fried eggs, 2 bacon, and grits. My husband had a garden omelet with sausage added in it, and hash browns on the side. The food was hot, and fresh. My waitress Bobbi was excellent. Overall, I had a excellent customer service at this restaurant. I would definitely recommend others to try, and we shall visit again.

This was exactly what we were looking for. It's a cute diner with great food. In case you're wondering their pan bread is just another name for French bread, buttery French bread. I will definitely have breakfast here next time I'm in Lake Charles.

I ordered the fried shrimp Po boy with fries and onion rings and without exaggeration there had to of been at least 40 decent size shrimp it made two satisfying meals for me and was extremely reasonably priced!

The shrimp poboy was average and the french fries that came with it were decent. Based on just the food, I would probably give this place 3 stars. The service was not exactly the friendliest. When I walked in I stood there for 5 minutes before walking to the counter to pay for my order that I ordered over the phone. The waitress at the counter ignored me for a second until she was finishing whatever she was doing. Then the general manager came up and they talked for a while and then asked me what I ordered. They seemed to have trouble finding my order but never explained to me what the problem was. After another 5 minutes they asked me what I had ordered and then had me pay. 10 minutes later, my order was ready. Not sure if they lost my original order. A little explaining would've helped. Or even a smile...

I want to thank the Supervisor at Pitt Grill On Prien Lake Rd for the Awesome Customer Service along with the good food that He and his staff provided to us when we came into the restaurant!!! Thanks to the Manger again for everything you did to make us feel special!! God Bless You Pastor Carrier

My husband got a breakfast pile and I got a philly cheese steak. We ordered the home fries as a starter. The fries were completely raw. The hashbrowns in his breakfast pile were cold and undercooked. My sandwich had hardly anything on it. The meat was tough and the bell peppers were also undercooked. The only upside was that our waitress, Bobbie, was very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately for her, we were there a full fifteen minutes before we even saw another waitress. So it took her a bit to get to us since she was on the floor alone. Overall, epic fail.

We had breakfast here on a Monday. The service was great. Mom had the garden omelet with grits and pancakes. Omelet was fresh and huge. Had to take home the rest .I had 2 eggs runny & biscuits with gravy and bacon. All was fresh and great service.
